Reviewer responsibilities

  • Accept an invitation only when the manuscript is within your expertise and you can complete a fair assessment.
  • Declare relevant conflicts of interest before beginning the review.
  • Treat the manuscript, review request and editorial correspondence as confidential.
  • Provide specific, constructive and evidence-based comments.
  • Do not upload confidential manuscript content to external AI services where confidentiality cannot be assured.
