Plagiarism & Similarity Policy
Plagiarism & Similarity Policy
IJMHR requires submitted work to be original, appropriately attributed and compliant with responsible scholarly publishing practices.
Similarity screening requirement
All submitted manuscripts must undergo plagiarism/similarity screening using Metrifind or Turnitin. Similarity reports generated through other platforms are not considered for IJMHR's similarity assessment.
A numerical similarity percentage does not replace editorial judgement. Editors may examine the source and nature of matched text and may request clarification, correction or a fresh similarity report where required.
Unacceptable practices
Reproducing text, ideas, data or images without appropriate attribution.
Submitting substantially the same work to more than one publication without appropriate disclosure.
Reuse of substantial previously published text without appropriate citation or editorial disclosure.
Editorial action
Manuscripts with unacceptable overlap may be returned for correction or rejected depending on the extent and nature of the concern. If a significant integrity concern is identified after publication, IJMHR may investigate the matter and take appropriate corrective action under its publication-ethics procedures.
The journal reserves the right to conduct an independent Metrifind or Turnitin check during editorial assessment.
